WHAT IS ZOOM WHITENING?
Zoom Whitening is a bleaching method intended to whiten discoloration of dentin and enamel alike. Tooth discolouration often results from smoking or consuming some beverages and foods. Zoom Whitening procedure can do a great job of lightening discoloured or stained teeth.
This in-office non-invasive treatment system . Zoom Advanced Power Lamp and hydrogen peroxide to speed up the process of bleaching. Once the hydrogen peroxide breaks down completely, oxygen penetrates the dentin and enamel. It bleaches any stains and brown spots while leaving the tooth structure unchanged.
HOW DOES ZOOM WHITENING WORK?
The idea behind this non-invasive dental procedure is to break down the hydrogen peroxide (in whitening gel) by the Zoom lamp light and enable oxygen to enter the tooth dentin and enamel. It is completely safe. The tooth structure remains intact whereas stains are bleached.
Client feel’s no pain other than a slight sensitivity and tingling sensation. The discomfort usually passes in 24 hours. The entire procedure takes from 45 to 60 minutes in most cases.

The whitening procedure comprises 3-4 sessions, each of which takes about 15 minutes, starting with the whitening gel application. In fact, the hydrogen peroxide gel is applied for 3-4 sessions of Zoom light activation. It remains in place to work for about 15 minutes while the Zoom light gets activated. Your Medical Esthetician will remove the old gel after every session and apply a fresh layer of gel.
The Zoom light makes the hydrogen peroxide break down, which allows oxygen to penetrate the enamel as well as dentin. It breaks up the tough stains and whitens any discoloration on your teeth. That’s it!
You will be happily surprised to see a white, dazzling smile in just about an hour. The results of this procedure are very noticeable for some clients, as it is possible to achieve up to eight shades lighter!
