How can I get started? What is the first visit like?
The 100 Day Fertility Prep Program is designed for both men and women and can be repeated as many times as needed. The program utilizes many different Natuopathic modalities including Dietary and Lifestyle Changes, Acupuncture Treatments, Vitamin Injections, IV Intravenous Therapy and Supplements. You will first be assessed by one of our Naturopathic Doctors. During the initial visit, our Naturopathic Doctor will take an in-depth history of your health, perform a complaint-oriented physical exam, provide an acupuncture treatment to boost fertility health, if warranted they will administer a vitamin injection and recommend appropriate lab tests and supplements. IV intravenous vitamin infusions may also be recommended depending on your state of health.
What is the treatment schedule for the 100 Day Fertility Prep Program?
During the 100 Day Fertility Prep Program, you will come once a week for the first 2 weeks of your menstrual cycle (if you are female). If you are a male patient, then you can simply come for treatments with your spouse during the same time for comfort and support. During the first 2 weeks of your cycle, we will administer vitamin injections (extra charge) and provide acupuncture treatments. During the second 2 weeks of your cycle, you can take it off and have a break from treatments. This same protocol is repeated the second and third month or until you are pregnant. How long can I stay on this program?
You can repeat this 100 Day Fertility Prep Program again if you are still not pregnant, miscarried or still experience irregular menstrual cycles. It sometimes takes 6 months to a year to regulate hormones so this is when we need patients to be patient. Our Naturopathic Doctors will constantly assess your health and recommend the right treatments for you.
What kind of supplements will I be taking?
The type and number of supplements will vary depending on your state of health and health needs. We recommend a variety of supplements such as Prenatal Vitamins, Anti-Oxidants and other Cleanses.
What kind of lab tests will be recommended?
Our Naturopathic Doctors will assess your health during the first visit and recommend the appropriate lab tests. Typically, the lab tests that our Naturopaths will recommend are Food Sensitivity Tests, Female/Male Salivary Hormone Tests, Thyroid Tests and Urine Element Analysis. There will be an extra charge for all lab tests.
What kind of diet will I be on? Will it be hard to follow?
You will be given a healthy diet to follow during the 100 Day Fertility Prep Program. This diet will entail eating moderate lean protein, high fiber foods, moderate whole grains and fruits, good amount of omega fats and drink 2-3L of water daily. You will follow a detox lifestyle including moderate exercise, deep breathing, getting the appropriate number of hours for sleep and reduce as much stress as you can during this program.
What is the total cost of the program?
The initial visit to get started on this program is $220. Please note that this amount does not include cost of vitamin injections, IV therapy, supplements or lab tests. All vitamin injections, IV therapy, supplements and lab tests are recommended on an individual basis and will vary in cost.
